I am looking for a bit more power out of my sled this year. I ride trails 90% of the time and dont want to get hassled. Any suggestions?

Also is the barker slip on exhaust the only one that is hidden?

Thanks

excell..quality piece..i have never gotten a ticket.. been threw 100's of check points..only ever hassled once by a 4ft tall towny cop right after 2 state troopers waved me by.. im pretty sure he had a wee bit of little mans disease..lol

Yeah I agree the excell is an awesome sounding exhaust and I never got a ticket for it either

Here is a pic of it, its quality built, stainless.. mine still looks and sounds like the day i bought it, been on for almost 5000 miles.

Exhaust has been talked about to death in this forum,

Just do a search and you should find a lot of info.

Good luck

If you don't want the "hassle", leave it stock.....

MRRP is loud + didn't make that much of a difference- can you actually feel 2 HP?
I went back to stock so I could hear my Ipod. Tunes are better than tickets.

Tony, sounds like those TC trail Nazi's huh? ;)!

Hey didn't we turn around on a ride near Redfield as there was a checkpoint up the trail??? LOL
Thanks for the stock muffler, sorry you can't have it back :tg: :tg:

no worries porky, i still have 1 more in stock....

ur the one that wanted to turn around.. remember you got those warrants out for what you did to those pigs...the poor little buggers.. i still cant believe you did that.. but hence the name porkchop..HAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I think it was Scott who wanted to do the U turn 'cause of law enforcement issues he has with fat cops, you just agreed.

He also had the GoPro evidence on how I got the Porkchop name. ;)!

Weeeeeeeeeeee Weeeeeeeeeeeeee !!

i think im just going to keep mine stock, i dont think much power can be gained and its not like its quite stock.

i also live in a area where i can just drive off right out of my garage.. so i dont want to piss off anyone.

I think the main benefit from switching to an aftermarket exhaust is the weight savings. The stock exhaust must have lead weights in it.

I have the Skinz Ultra-Q and its not too much louder than stock plus LOOKS stock since it reuses the factory plastic endcap/cover. I mainly got it because of the turned exhaust tip AND it scratch n' dent special for 125$ new as it had a small ding in the case. It added a bit of power as I picked up 150-200rpm and ~2mph on the tach/speedo immediately after installing it.

The Super Q is the same as the Ultra Q but I think it's a lot louder.
