Looking to purchase a new helmet. The one I got last year pretty much freezes to my chin. Anyone had any luck with finding a helmet that keeps your whole head warm?

you didnt mention if you wanted full face or motocross style?? I run bombardier bv2s......belt helmet I ever owned, super warm and never fogs.....no cheap though

CKX TRANZ WITH ELECTRIC SHIELD - works well even when not plugged in.

I just picked up 2 of those ckx tranz modular ones for $230 cdn for both... I am going to be running that one on the colder days and then I am going to be running a hjc snocross style with haber goggles and eliminator for the nicer days... I also put the breath deflector in the hjc and that should help good with the cold air... Oh and I am going to wear a klim bellaclava this year as well...

BVs2 also.....awesome helmet. Pricey...but worth the money. My previous HJC would fog up, as that pretend breath box did hardly nothing.

This new BVs2 when properly adjusted to your face keep all the moist air away from the shield for plenty of clear vision. Also has a nice chin curtain to help keep out the air...another nice feature. ;)!

I've been running the AC TXi for a few seasons now..I love it....the little visor works great for the sun.

BV2S here also best helmet money can buy..

When I tried it on it was hard to get use too... I didn't like the feeling of that mouth/nose piece squished on my face...felt really like clostorphobic in there... but the reviews have all said it is great at not fogging up and very warm...

i just used my bv2s today for the first time and love it i just got home and its -5F with 10 mph winds and i was really moving down the river and didnt get cold no air leaks through this helmet at all actually had a guy at the bar asking me how i liked it when i walked in i guess they look cool too

I just have a modular gmaxx 445x , its got the flip up face the sunshield and the electric visor if it gets super cold, have no had it fog up really yet, still need to wire it into my sled infact lol.

Ski Doo's modular helmets are hard to beat. If money is no object, buy the BV. If price is a little concern, especially with the economy, buy their Modular. They come with a wrap for the mouth piece and with a baccleva under it, you can ride easily below the negative digits.
