Yeah, know....I believe the whole fake thing is to protect thier reputable dealers from the price gouging that happens. IMO......

What is the charge life on them? If I charge it up and throw it in my saddle bag and need it at the end of the season will it still work or is it something that needs put on the charger every few weeks?

I don't think so. There are reviews out there showing the subtle differences in the real vs fakes.
