my front end was diving quite abit last year and now that I have the Ripsaw 1 1/4 track I don't have the traction to get the heavy front end out of the snow anymore
just want to know what kind of skis you's guys are using and how they're working out for you's

Another one for the apex mnt ski's. Put them on this summer. Can wait to give them a go. Anything is better than the stock toothpick 03 skis.

I vote for the Apex skis, good flotation but hang on, on spring crust

Yes! The design is very similar. I think Yamaha almost copied the design from powder pro´s. But perheps the pro´s are more aggresive? Since they (SLP) don´t need to "be safe for all".... Or?

I'm running PPD (X-MT models) skis on both sleds. This will be the first season with them so, the verdict is still out. I'll definately post a report as soon as the snow flys and I get some miles on them in various conditions. For now here's some pictures of the skis and the sled after installation.

I have a Vector Mountain SE which runs the same ski's as the Apex Mountain. Great ski's in powder but watch yourself on hard snow. They dart like crazy and can catch you off guard by grabbing some ruts fast. Just my .02. I wish I could get rid of them but not in the market for some Simmons at that price.

i am using the 05 mountain skis on my 03 mountain rx-1. I too have the 1.25 ripsaw 151. the handling has improved vastly in the fluff, but watch yourself when catching a ski rut these skis will try and jerk the handle bars away from you. I have noticed I dont deal with spray coming off the skis and into your face , when plowing through deep snow.

Rage man there talking about mtn riding here.Thos ski's you have would sink like a boat anchor.
I ran the 05 and newer mtn ski's last year.
I also have a set for sale minus hardware because I got a new sled with them on.
