Dooman, we are both searching for the same 500 RPM (heck I'd take 700). I received my Shockwave adjustable helix today so I will try to get it on this evening and try it this weekend. If all I have to do is tighten or loosen a little ring to gain or lose RPM I think we may have an easy answer.

I went out today with my HH set up as described above. The only change I made was I replaced the 16.5 rollers with 14.5's. The sled ran way stronger down low and in the midrange. Now I'm going to throw weight at the middle hole until I pull it down on the top end then I'll back it off 1 step. Sled pulled 10,200 rpm all day.

RX1M5, that's good to hear. I went from the 16.5mm to the 15mm and thought the same thing. I imagine the 14.5 rollers probably work even better?
I am headed out to try mine today. Yes the mid hole seems to be the key. Use at least a 7/16 steel bolt in the hole. I usually have that bolt and two steel washers but have tried lightening it up for this ride. In the tip I ususally use a 7/16 steel as well either alone of with one steel washer but this trip I am trying a 3/8 steel. I hope I'm not bumping the rev limiter today

I run 89L weight and they are good at WOT or midrange and they are snappy, they give me a real good Hole shot and acceleration.
But like you said, they lack grab force at LOW rpm.
What do you think about 8bU-00 . I 'm thinking to try those weight., i already tryed them, but have'nt no luck to got enough RPM.
Im a supporter of Low Anlge Helix and Gray secondary spring, i need backshift.
Now i need to change, i'm running 89L fully loaded, but with my 16 x 162 x 2.5 and 19-40 gearing am way to loaded on top.
Thanks
