Where are all the Sidewinder's

Not many Yamaha dealers near Moosehead & the one in Jackman has pissed off ALOT of people. The County however has some real good dealers & some real fast, big 10 MISSISSIPPI trails (that's when you keep it pinned & count the mississippi's) perfect for the 'Winder. I have not seen ONE Thundercat yet this year.
wow, really surprised to hear that about jackman. he always seemed to go out of his way for the pure love of the sport and keeping folks in the wind. i looked early yesterday and saw he sold most of his yams, not the others so much. feel free to pm me if serious issues one should know. thanks

When I was in The County in December I saw no Sidewinders and 1 Thundercat..I can tell you one thing, I've never gotten as many compliments as I have with my Sidewinder..This sled is a Rockstar!

Yes have to agree. Lots of interest and questions from fellow snowmobilers concerning my Sidewinder.

I saw at least 15 SW's and about 3-4 TCats in the western UP of Michigan 2 weeks ago. Lots of everything though, it was real busy being the midwest has been snow free most of the winter.

Saw one near Eustis when Bro and I were there. I was a little bit envious, got to admit.

We must have been there together, lol.

I've yet to see one in the wild, I know they're out there

Saw a lot this year in the UP.. couple Cats also.. I was approached 4 different times while warming my sled up. All asking questions and complimenting. One guy I told it was flashed to around 250 HP almost Sh&% himself right on the spot.. He could not believe it.. Funny thing was almost all the guys that approached me were actually somewhat older guys.. most at least 45 or 50.. not that is that old BUT one would think more of the younger guys would have asked. IMO

Hahaha....I saw a fork in the road. You must have taken a left.

Does being VIP get you privileges, like unlimited ability to ask questions?

I'll let others detail all the benefits of being a VIP for $10 American. If you recall, I took the time to answer questions about your wife's Vector? You were a relative newbie (at least in the RS forum) and hopefully you found out just how beneficial this site has been for information. Am I correct so far?

So a "donation" of $10 (or more) for a VIP membership gets you access to more info plus it helps Mr. Sled defray the tremendous cost of keeping this site alive and active. He gets ZERO support from Yamaha just in case you didn't know.

Your "reply" as stated isn't going to get you any more help from me. It's up to others what they want to do. Better get the wife a Winder as you have suggested you may do over in the RS forum.

Saw at least 5 Thundercats and 10 Sidewinders in 653 miles of riding in the UP last week. Highlight was seeing a 850 blow up right at the end of one of those 10 Mississippi runs. Trail 8 runs old US 41 for a few miles. Pulled up as he was pulling his helmet and panels off. Orange bee blood everywhere. Waited with him for his buddies to come back.

I heard of a f

I have heard of a few popping on some Canadian sites. If she's a 2 smoker, sooner or later they will pop. Unfortunately it sounds like sooner for that guy.

Got back on Sat. from a week long trip to Portage Lake Maine. Did 1,200 miles for the week. Seen 3 winders and a Tcat parked at Deans either having dinner or staying the night. Don't recall seeing any on the trail. One guy that rode up from PI having dinner said he's having belt issues. Not that it matters, but it seems you can't swing a dead cat in the County without hitting a Doo!

I'd like to ride with one just so I can run the old Turbo Viper against one to see how it stacks up. I'll be on a Winder more than likely next year, just wasn't in the cards for this year.
