Where can I install extra bottle on Apex?

I have my bottle mounted in the front of the sled where the voltage regulator once went.

I thought I remember someone saying that a bottle will fit in the trunk. I tried my 2.5lb bottle and no way is it fitting in my trunk. I'd buy new bottles if I could figure out where to install and extra 2lbs.

Anyone have any ideas?

If you want to carry a lot of Nitrous then call Boondockers. They have a bottle bracket to fit the 4lb carbon fiber bottle in the nose. With a backback and 2 or those bottle you can carry 8lbs, but the bottles are pricey.

Nx sells a 5 lber, that has the motorcycle bottle valve, that I'm thinkin may just barely fit in the nose it's about 16" long.

There is above the valve cover and I think a 2lb will fit in the seat if I remember right Nos-pro said that. I coudl be wrong though.


I wish I could have 20lbs of nitrous with me, man what a fun day that would be! 2.5Lbs is like a tease

Nope, kinger....you are correct. It was me that said a 2 lb. bottle will fit in the trunk, and all you have to do is take out the plastic "T" that covers the wires, place a pc. of black duct tape (or grey) over the wires, and trim the 2 little ribs that extend on the plastic block on the side where your but goes. Only need to do the left side, and you can keep the tool box on the right. Fits nice and snug, and the flap is closed. Even room for a bottle of water.

I see what you mean about the T strip. That just pops off. I can carve out that other little piece no problem. What brand 2 lb bottle do you have? I want to order a couple. You have any you want to get rid of?

Anyone want to trade a 2lb bottle for a 2.5 lb bottle?

That 4lb carbon fiber bottle is sweet...but it is way too expensive $$$

i have a 2.5 lb boss bottle in my trunk also, it just takes a little bit of carving to make it fit and once you get the hole in there its like a home made bottle heater too, i didnt cover the hole at all, you can see my exhaust can.

I just finished notching out my trunk space and the bottle fits in there nice and snug. That is sweet. 5.0 lbs of N20 this season....wooohooo!
