where do you guys run oil return?

i know some guys return oil line to top of valve cover and some to the large 5/8 line on front of motor.

my question is, whick one seems to work the best and does it really matter how big a round the line is? i have mine ruinning to the front of the engine right now but i would like to run it into the valve cover as it would be less clutter under the hood and less hcance of it getting pinched off.

I welded a half inch nipple on the gear housing behind the primary clutch and used silicone hose to hook it up. I had some blowby problems and it wasn't draining out when it was hooked into the valve cover because the drain hose was almost horizontal but now by going down that low it drains out fine, Ken.

were is the best place to get that silicone hose? do they make it in 5/8

I got mine at NAPA and they have different sizes. Costs about $12 a foot, Ken.
