well, since we have no snow in N.H. I am thinking about taking a trip, to ride where there is snow. what areas of NY have good trail systems and arent to far from N.H. (5 hrs max drive)????????????

TUG HILL !!!!!!!!!!
Theres tons of snow there.

Call first---If going to Tug Hill.
Some places are STILL having on and off again heavy lake effect snow and travel warnings.
Some trails have powder/get powder daily on top and although they might have been groomed the snow has not had a chance to settle and get packed down yet as they are being torn up by the constant thrashing of riders.Seen a fresh groomed trail get torn up by 5 sleds right behind the groomer and you would never know it was just groomed.
Stay on the trails as you may hit unseen objects under the snow or become stuck-yes its very deep off trail.
Many riders were pushing in the corners and coming into my lane due to the powder and probably their overall excitement from so much snow.Plus they were riding over their heads.Meaning the Tucker Morgans.

Its getting to the point where no one wants to be the leader.

This was last sunday night the 4th following Jacques Villeneuves trailer just north of Lowville,NY. during the heavy lake effect snow.
This was a brief period when I could see their trailer this clear then it was back to whiteout conditions.
