Looking to put these in my 18 Winder 129”. Will I need a different chain also?

You'll need a 92p chain, I believe Hurricane has them in stock

Under Sidewinďr then clutching and gearing, you'll see chains. 92 not listed but believe Dave makes them in house. Just call. Probably has gears too.

24/50 was stock gearing on many 2017 Cats.
Cat #s:
24T 15 wide top = 1702-396
50T 13 wide bottom = 2602-746
92P chain = 2602-841

This is what I paid on Arctic Cat Parts.ca

Order:
Qty. Part Number Price Per Item Special Order Product Name
---- ----------- -------------- ------------- ------------
1 1702-396 $34.15 No Sprocket - 24T (15 Wide) - Sprocket - 24T (15 Wide)
1 2602-841 $185.20 No Chain - 92P (15 Wide) - Chain - 92P (15 Wide)
1 2602-746 $117.75 No Sprocket - 50T (13 Wide) - Sprocket - 50T (13 Wide)

Too bad you're in CA, I have the whole set w less than 200 miles on them I'd sell ya for $150 US. IDK about freight and duty.

My bad - yeah I see Jeff is from WI. How convenient.

Lots cat guys sell their stock gears.

Ill say it again, for corner to corner my buds RR 9000 bone stock is snappy as hell, Same studs as my Winder had, less transfer with his 137 but felt a ton better then my stock winder ever did(Snappiness) It took a quick spool tune for my winder to become an animal corner to corner.

If you ride tight trails, the stock cat gears in conjunction with the "auto deflection" which keeps belt tight, and the TEAM clutching, all feels incredible corner to corner. We all fall into the bigger gearing simply for the top end, but not everyone rides big wide open trails.

I am on the lookout for a '19 Tcat or '19 9000 in general....Now that we know all the issues that need attention, and Travis helping out with so many of them, these sleds can be bought used IMO with confidence, and then some fixes. If I go Winder again, I would gear closer to 24/50 and upgrade clutches.

I hope you find one. Glad you are sticking around.

Ill always be around here for sure brother. Im working on buds '18 9000RR here and missing my baby! These sleds are really nice to work on IMO, as ive been all into them fully now(except engine internals) and with the few items we all know about love making them reliable. The 850 G4 will not be in any way fun to work on, so that will just be rode stock.

Should be back over here with another turbo soon enough. I do like the idea of a cat this next time round though.
