Where to go snowmobiling in Quebec

Hi,

I do most all my riding in VT but would like to head to Quebec in the Montreal-Quebec City area for New Years and had some questions.

1. Is there generally good snow in Quebec City-Montreal for a New Years ride?
2. I prefer more sweeping open type riding than tight trails any recommendations?
3. Any suggestions on a good place to stay?

My first QC riding was done in Thetford Mines. Small loops or big ones it your choice. Lots of snow, open terrain, rolling hills and scenery. Most hotels have trail access or very close to them. It's right in between Montreal and Quebec City. And to our surprise many are english speaking.
