Where are you guys going to put it so it looks good. I had it on the windsheild of my f7 but don't know where to put on my apex gt. Rick

I know, I am fussy about this as well. And the GT, windshield would likely permanently ruin it.
For the last 5 years I make exact sticker size alum plates and use 2 tiny screws and nuts to hold them to the upper part of the black side panels. :D This slightly bends the rules of where to put them, but DNR does not care

I would like it if I did not have to put the sticker on but our local sheriff deparment would have a problem with that. Plus I would hate to come out of the bar and get pulled over for no stickers. Rick

I never ride down here so I guess thats why I get by. You could say that the hood got damaged, put a new one on and couldn't pull off the stickers nicely, so you'll be getting more stickers. But if you are drinking, you've got a problem if they stop you. :drink:

I've heard you can use 3-M clear vinyl automotive hood protector to mount stickers on. Looking for some at parts store this week. studdog

I put mine done on the tunnel.

I have used aluminum plates for the past 4 sleds and it works fine. I rivit the plates below the front hood on the side cowl. Then place the sticker on over the plate. The nice thing about using an aluminum plate is that you can form the plate to match the surface your attaching it to. If you just try to put a sticker on the front side cowl with out the plate it won't stick well because of the rough surface.

I always put mine on the side/belly pan. I use a blow drier to warm the belly pan and then apply the reg. sticker and then warm it again and press the sticker so it gets into the course surface. Oh I wash the surface with soap and water first. I have never lost one. ;)!

I guess you guys aren't allowed custom numbers, eh?

Our registration stickers in Wisconsin have the number right on them.

Same here in Ontario, they give us the registration sticker with the number, but we dont have to use it if we don't want. Just as long as those numbers are visible on the front of the machine.
