Where's the best deal on YES coverage?

I purchased the YES and glad i did...1 month after i had signed up, had fuel pump problems...didnt pay a cent for the diagnosis or the new pumps...actual shop time was about 8 hrs, add in the cost of new pumps and the warranty has already paid for itself...had the mechanics baffled, tried everything to fix the problem, only solution was fuel pumps

May I ask how much you paid for Y.E.S. please.

Thank you,

Don't go through Yamaha direct go through a dealer. Your dealer has a "cost" on the warranty and then can sell it at whatever price they want to above that cost (or I suppose below the cost if they want) I paid $450 for a 48 month extended warranty on my '03 RX1. Have had the seat, snowflap, airbox, and all four Plugcap/coil units replaced under warranty with no questions asked. If you plan on keeping your sled a few years, I think it is a good investment. Also a good selling point to be able to transfer the warranty to the new buyer.

Thanks Sinjin. What dealer did you use?

I use Mondus Motorsports in Hudson, Wi. I buy all my Yamaha stuff from them and use them for parts and service. Not the biggest dealer in the twin city area but have good prices and service. I would first try the dealer you bought your sled from, they should give you some sort of deal on the warranty.
