Looks like we're going to set a record here for the lake to freeze over. Latest ever recorded is Jan 09. And according to our weather forecast there's no way in hell that lake is going to freeze in 3 days, she's still wide open!!!
record high of 50 today....feels like spring.... wth

I guess if I can't ride I'll just work more until it snows to pay for all the mods.

+3 no snow or trails open
51 the other day in Brainerd and no snow or colder temps in the future for us. Was looking at the long range forecasts and they see the same out to the end of January. All I can say is WOW! Never seen anything like it in my life.

Quik rant. I think I have reverse seasonal depression. I spent all of my summer vacation and everyday after work, cooped-up in an office writing a 200pg thesis staring out the window as warm summer days rolled by. I got through it by telling myself, 'once winter comes, I will be free to ride for months'. I now sit, zero snow, in the same office checking weather forecasts that show endless warm weather...sigh.

Very frustrating, also all the people who love this warm winter and constantly saying how nice it is are very irritating, and the weather forcasters wetting their shorts in glee because they dialed up this great weather.
talk about winter blues...I'm on winter suicide watch

The weather service has told us the jet stream moved and is bringing us one big storm after another, kind of like a conveyor belt. Last winter we were dry, cold and extremely windy. Now that it changed we've received over 270" of snow this season. I've hardly got to ride because all I do is move snow.
