I was wondering which belt you guys are runing.I have tryed Yamaha,Ultimax 3,Ultimax XS,and they are all to tight,in order to stop them from screeching,I have to adjust my secondary, then the belt sits down in the secondary too far.If you guys could give me the # of the belt that you are useing,It would be a big help to me

It sounds like your clutches are too far apart.
You can adust the spacing between them by adjusting the motor mounts a bit, do a search and you will find it.
Ulmer Racing makes a great clutch tool for adjusting them.
There is a XS811 belt I believe that is longer and wider, if that is something you want to try, havent tried it myself, have read about some that have.
(Double check that number, Im not positive that is it.)
The Yamaha belts are pretty darn tough and seem to last the longest, so that is what most guys use.
Hope this helps!

I'm running a gates belt now. Dayco/carlistle belts are crap, the oem belt is too hard and slips (2 problems with this - clutch face wear and burning belts). The Gates belt is the ONLY belt that has even made it through a whole season for me (usually takes 3), and now its lasted TWO seasons.

Actually, last I looked, Gates does not have a belt with the same dimensions as the Yamaha belt, thats why I was more looking for a part number rather than a glib response.

Hhahahha!
Thanks!
Thats what I was talking about, Gates doesn't have one that is the same dimensions as the Yamaha belt.
(The 38HP4432 is a different dimension than the 38X4420 and neither of these are the same as the yamaha belt, yet both are specified for the Yamahas.)
You can step up or down in belt width, and/or up or down in belt length, but you can't get the same width & length dimensions from Gates.
However, I have used Gates in the past with great success.
Looks like Gates just picked a close one to list as a replacement.
That doesn't mean it is the best selection out of the Gates belts.
That is why I asked LB which one he used, wondered if he just followed the listing, or actually measured and/or tried any different ones to see which one would most likely work the best in real life.

It was probably a bad idea to try to learn a bit more about them to start with...

Again, go check their website. When you choose RX1, it will tell you the belt to use.
