What are the benefits of spring ordering. What would be a better sled for somebody 6,3 250 a apex-gt,apex rtx or attak-gt.Help me out folks im not sure which one suits me the best.Im not much of a ditch banger,i mostly go fast and break trail.

I don't think you can beat the deals they've got going on right now??? The benifit to waiting, however, is you may have more model options to choose from. Aside from that, some dealerships will not take your current sled until fall (6 more months of depreciation), or they may not take it at all???

That being said, I'm 6'-6" and 250 and I absolutely LOVE my Attak GT, which I DID NOT spring order - except I could use taller bars for standing.

They're all great models, but my preference is the longer tracked Attak & Attak GT. "Trail versatility" is what they are designed for.

This was my first Yamaha in many many years. Spring ordering last March provided me with 2 years extended warranty and $400.00 usd accessory cash. (Pretty much paid for a new jacket and spare belt)

As far as your choices I don't think you can go wrong with any of the above mentioned sleds. For me, I wanted the best ride for the type of riding I do.... (Similar to what you have described as your style). I wanted to try a 136" this time around for no better reason than "Just Because!" I have had excellent suspensions in my previous sleds and wanted the same with my new Yamaha. The choice for me was easily narrowed down to the Attak GT.

I found (As did my son after extending his REV to a 136") that for our aggressive style of riding the 136 was not at all a negative factor in the twisties, and provided for better hook-up and an excellent, excellent ride.

I am waiting to hear from my insurance company as to if my 07 Attak GT will be totaled or repaired (My son took out a deer last week) If it is totaled I will be replacing the sled with the exact same thing. I could not be happier with it!
