1" Hacksaw
1" preditor
1 1/4 ripsaw

I'm running a '06 rtx w/no reverse.
I just blew the ripsaw on my sled today. I was leaning to buy a 1" hacksaw even before my ripsaw went. I was prety happy with the ripsaw but was looking to get a little more on top, plus i don't think it was good in the deep stuff.
my feeling is that the hacksaw should just about equal the ripsaw in the fluff & gain me 1-3mph on top.
my rev buddies run 1" track with 1.40 studs and seem to have good performance.
I was even thinking of getting the 128" extension & getting the 128 hacksaw. any thoughts?

I would run the same studs(1.40") that i have in the ripsaw, but would add a 3/8 " strip to my tunnel protecters.
I run mostly rough trails, then groomed trails, & then little powder. I ride hard most of the time.
I did have a 1 1/4 preditor on my srx but wasn't overly impressed. not sure if the preditor is better than the hacksaw, let me know if you know different. thanks for your input

I have the 1 1/4" ripsaw on my apex still and its a nice track. I just wish the stocker was fully clipped. When/if i need to replace it, I would replace it with a fully clipped hacksaw or ripsaw.

A friend of mine had a 15x121x1" predator on his ski doo and put on a 14x121x1 hacksaw.

The hacksaw is a very nice track but its very soft rubber even compared to the ripsaw. If you go this route, you could probably even go with the 14" wide track to save a little weight and rotating mass. It still fits just a little less track on each side of your idler wheels. Just gotta make sure your track doesnt loosen to much.

my buddy has a 14" hacksaw on his rev. i think if i went down to a 1", i would stick to the 15" wide track. or go to a 128x14 hacksaw.
