Buddy of mine (getting off a machz 1000) is considering buying an Apex and turbo/supercharging it.He tried the turbo cat and it was a slug .Rumors of a 190 hp turbo doo have surfaced (at the dealer) and has his interest but an apex appeals to him too...he rides 3-4000 miles a year but wants to very good on the lake.so i am doing a little research for him. he will need to run on 91 for the most part.Which turbo/sc to buy?in addition to the power adder what else should one do to keep the sled running good with the extra steam? what kind of safe power can you make on 91.The install will most likely be done by us (i have a shop and 25 years wrenching (although i havn't been doing turbo work )I have browsed turbo articles over the past few years and cpr seem to be a leader in the industry and i believe (Jeff i think?))is on here from time to time ....but the 19000 mileS/C apex thread on here sounds impressive too .I under stand S/C make less peek hp but build faster ,but what kind of power on 91......race gas is an option for play days so adjustability would be fun ....Can Anyone steer us in the right direction to start?
