Heaviest snowfall since 1981 and it was only 15cm, but I'll take it. Nice to see white stuff on the ground. 
Thats more than we've had all season

We did. It snowed Friday too. Heathrow was closed for a while. Traffic queues were miles long on the motorway. Schools were closed for two days. Pubs were packed.
Saturday it was +3c and Sunday was +10c. Snow is all gone.

hmmmm... never lasts..least you had a good share swiss..
.. here my end of the wet island..less than 6-7 cms...
all gone by the afternoon, tho my 2 year old daughter loved it.. kept poking it and was very bemused to find it was cold!
was not happy at all to be taken inside, after finding her new found love of white rare fluffy stuff.
wait till i take her to finland tho....

302 inches total snowfall for this season here. Still down compared to normal. hopefully the spring snow will revive us

heres hoping.....302 inches!..i can only wish.....
we get so much as a sniff of over half an inch of snow over here.. and you would not belive the fuss that is made
..as swiss says the u.k STOPS DEAD!
soon as so much as a flake hits the ground, headline news on t.v and papers..people stop work... schools close.... nothing moves( cars planes and trains)
..and the world stops turning you'd think..lol unreal!
