Put exhaust in tonight, bought "used" just trying to finish up seat install. Do you use heat shield? If not, how is seat held in place properly? Any help out there?

The stock heat shield shot be mounted with steel tabs that came in the exhaust kit when new, he probably didn't send you those. I can take a measurement of mine, and post it. They get rivoted to the rear heat crossover holes, and hold the back part of the stock heat shield up and in place.

Yeah, no tabs kind of figured something was missing. I can fab something - but rough measurements wouldn't hurt!

i just "trimmed" my heat shield a bit for my exhaust-but it exits out stock holes-just the angle of the pipes was a bit different.
