Sucking the limiter strap up one hole seems to change the approach angle just enough to flatten the rear angle out so the shock isn't as high as it is when the strap is loose.
It's not much, maybe a 1/16th or so, but it(mine) doesn't rub.

I ran my limiter 1-2 holes tighter than stock and so did several of my buddies. We didn't notice any change in shock rubbing.

Also I measured the gap between the shock eye and the track through various suspension positions and if I recall correctly, tightening the limiter by a hole didn't seem to make any difference.

As I've said before, I don't really consider this a serious problem. Its just annoying that the track doesn't stay pristine. In our (the group I ride with) experience there has been no structural damage to the track or suspension from rubbing (the shock wear is closest to an issue, but I haven't seen it get bad enough to cause problems as long as the rest of the suspension and track is in good condition). If you add up the miles we've put on monoshocks we're around 30,000 miles so far.

I have a Predator track.....................maybe the rub has to do with the Ripsaw????????????????

I try the ulmer anti rub kit with no luck 2 time and this year with a brand new tack the metal tube 1" on the W rear arm and still got chuck of rubber missing on my track.

Anybody have a solution for this mono 121" rubbing issue?

My track has been fine for 3 years with rub eliminator kit. I repack bearings every year but works good.
