I think my apex is having some issue and would like someone who has experience with a modified apex's to talk to. First off it has an idle problem I just changed my TPS because it was out of range thinking this would fix my idle issues as well as a top end problem feels like Something is holding back. Well it still stalls at idle feels a bit better top end but feels like top end is not where it should be.

Have you checked your clutch kit for your top end.

I think it's a clutch problem but need a second opinion the RPM are consistent but MPH vary on the same trail for the top end. I think it could be an idle control issue for the idle problem.

How many miles from the last time you replaced the springs.

Well the clutch kit was new last year which comes with a primary spring but secondary could be original

If your full shift rpms are all over the chart on the same condition of track you are running I have seen clutch springs cause this many times. Also check your secondary for clean smooth operation and look to see if your helix ramp buttons are wore down where they can cause problems and maybe junk on the clutch face? Many things in the clutching area can cause this.

Well RPM looks the same but mph changes

MPH can be affected by so many things. Your looking more for RPMs 10500-10200.

Also.... My idle was not consistent for no known reason I tried yamaha RING FREE engine treatment and in a tank or so and the sled ran perfect at idle after. it decarbons the engine and cleans the fuel system as well as the idle bypass system which I think makes the differance in the idle issue. Use as directed on bottle, it is concentrated! Rich.

Ok I will try the ring free but as far as RPM goes it around 10600 I could get it higher by taking some weight out of the primary

10200-10500 I have found the apex makes the best power.

I've delt with Scott at Modfather's with a nitrous apex and a s/c apex if there's anyone that can figure it out he can.
