I did some trail riding today in Monroe, WI with my brother. He has an '04 Predator 500 TLD and I have my YFZ.
We did manage to find a little mud, but nothing serious and nothing the the YFZ couldnt handle.

Needless to say, after we got home we spent a couple of hours washing, waxing, greasing and oiling the quads, but it was fun. Im not really a fan of mud, I like the fast, sandy trails of northern Wisconsin better, but riding (even if its muddy with lots of potholes and some road riding and has speed limit of 30 mph) sure as heck beats not riding.
Surprisingly, fuel range wasnt much of an issue. We unloaded at Argyle filled up at the gas station and rode from there to the BP station (not sure which town that was in), which we estimated is about 30 miles. It only took .6 of a gallon to fill the tank. Id say thats pretty darn good considering that the motor isnt broke-in yet and that I was trying to vary the speed and rpm (trying to break it in right). Im sure that if I lugged it more I could probably pull even better milage.
Hopefully my 4.2-gallon tank will come in soon and then I wont have to worry about fuel range. ;)!
All in all though, it was a good day and every time I ride this quad I find myself liking it more and more. ;)!

Oh yeah, always having fun. Right now Im just riding and havin fun.
Next year Im going to start racing it, and thats when things are gonna get serious.
