Why do we need a 137 and a 141? they are similar in length the 141 has a tenth of an inch taller lug, a wash IMO. the shocks are a little differant but is that enough? Why not just make one long track instead of two? what's your thoughts does 4" really make that much diff.

the 141 is UNcoupled and not that great on the trail...the 137 is Coupled and much better on trail

Just got back from a test ride here in duluth mn. They provided the 129 and 141, no 137. I Absolutly loved the 141 handled well on the trail with plenty of traction of course, yet still very mobile through the woods. We had a blast a plan to head back on Sunday.

As Daranello said, the 129 and 137 are trail sleds and the 141 is a crossover sled (the first TRUE Yamaha crossover sled...?). The 129 and 137 have Ripsaw and coupled rear suspension, the 141 has Cobra and non-coupled rear suspension. The 129 and 137 will probably handle very well on twisty trails and they will be possible to use in harder conditions with less ice scratchers. The 141 in the same conditions will have a lot of inside ski lift and for sure more hyfax issues. On the other hand, it will outperform the other two if you take it outside the trail.

You actually only get a short 2" of track on the ground.

i think the main difference is coupled and uncoupled,I was going to purchase the XTX until I read some info and found out the LTX would be a better trail sled then the XTX

agreed but try putting 250+hp to the ground with 144 xtx much less 137, if your not going to add power like turbo you should get the 137.

Yea,I am not doing anything of the sort. The XTX is deff more of a off trail sled that can do some trail riding while the LTX SE is a trail sled that can do some off trail riding. I think thats the best way to put it

coupled vs. uncoupled I'd like to see them in deep powder drag race. Can't imagine their would be all that much diff maybe i'm wrong. I think the Nytro XTX works well in the trails

I agree, I had a 13 xtx 1.75, it handled great on trail.

You would think but not true! with a little work the XTX skid is a much better one for trail and much more tune-able. Plus the skid loads better on launch getting better bite with the track

Here is a video at 9#'s trail riding NO inside ski lift but it does lift both skis in a straight line anytime you want it to.

After much work I loved the XTX over the LTX's I rode that I bought a 2nd one.

Here is a video of my 14 launching with 9#'s of boost about 220 hp and then switched to 13#'s about 252 hp

Yes the XTX can handle good but the LTX is without a doubt more of a planted feel. Which one you prefer is kind of preference. I've ridden both now and kind of wish I would have gone XTX instead of LTX but I also know guys that have the XTX that like my LTX better. I would say for anyone trying to decide between the two try to get some seat time on each first either from friends or demo rides to see which you prefer.
