Why can't I get sled into reverse?

Changed the chaincase lower gear bolt...now I cant get reverse to engage. Lever feels tight with no travel. What am I doing wrong? I didn't remove anything within the chaincase except the bolt.

the shift forks need to be put back into the groove...did you remember to do that?

X2 on what sj said it's a little tricky getting the fork back in the grove.

When you put the chain-case cover back on, you need to engage the shift drum with the shift forks from the top. You can feel when they are properly engaged. The lever on the outside of the cover should be in the 3 O'Clock position when assembled properly.
