why the f is my mcx apex popping

At 10 AFR it falls on it's face loosing Power big time. Or are you refering to 10000 RPMs?

Water in the pressure signal line going to the MCX ECU?

Set plugs at 0.45mm or 0.018"
 
Im refering to seing 10000rpm afr 10 its like it holds the rev a while sometime and drop and feel fat.

checked the inline to ecu, allways store the sled inside

And it's hard to make long pulls on the sea now with +- 0c. Water ontop the ice making it slush so grabbing for the skying seeing nothing looking at the guages and hopping I don't catch something infront, a mcx computer would been nice :)

UPDATE: today is also a shitty weather day +1 and aloe rain..praying för Cold, cant run in this weather...
 
Got down when it stopped rain/snow , but down on the sea it started again so i didnt see all that well, but pulled 10500 and it hold it, afr then said 10.5 steady 13.4 idling and about 12 trail riding.

I also sometime could hit the revlimiter and about 2times rolling off I got one bang at low rpm, also I can se almost 10-10.5 afr just at 2500rpm when standing stil, then it gets passed it starts rolling and 11.5. My co2 is adjusted but have worked great for several years


Could it be the launchcontroll or should I send in the mcx unit and get it tested

As said it hold the revlimiter but gave me a extra 0.1bar boost.
 
Had a talk with the guys at NTC, TEMAB and the builder himself, send in the ecu and will have a look Erik said. About a 1/3 of gen 3 ecu has problem with mapsensor. hoping it is that and then switching for the gen 5.

I drilled a 2.5mm hole in the wastegate as in pic and no water, and the arm moves just fine.

I also checked the blue and brown wire from the tcv to ecu with multimeter and they were complete. Also did the cloth with gasoline test on the sensor for aem afr and it worked flawless.
 
pressure tested the inlet and exhaust.
On the inlet there was no leaks.
On the exhaust i had a leak as you see in the picture, so gonna put in sealent. also a small on at the top of a donut not tighten 100% but not enough to do any to the system, but fixed it.

Even ohm tested the sparkplug coils, all good.
So no leaks at all :)

Oh yeah also put the spark plugs gap at 0.18 now.
 
Ok guys, this is the latest and want some input by you hardheaded sledders.

I got a call from Erik at Mcxpress were he couldnt find any wrong when reading/simulating my gen 3 efi.

He believes its my black injectors and will send down a set of the brown bosch and mapped it with them since they are smaller cc.

what do you guys think.

I looked through al the pages prior, but dont remember seeing if you checked your inline fuel filter, or in tank? Could be causing a lean condition?

0.8bar the wastegate starts to Open, and had around 9bar at all cylinders

Yamahammer485 if You had reed the thread you know that I got a fat condition, the brown bosch injectors with the corresponding map is going.in today, also going to test the fpr.
 
made a long run today with the new brown bosch injectors and the map corresponding to them.

As my gut was telling me that didnt solve it, but the sled works so much better with this ones.

What is it i have missed, what else can show me 10.5afr at wot.

i could se almost 4bar of fuel pressure at wot, that was what i belive but the snowconditions here make it hard to focus on the gauges.
 
checked the diagnostic

1 throttle angle 15-18 closed 95-100 open, mine was 16 and 97
2 atmosperhic pressure i got 100
3 intake pressure i got 100 so i guess they both are correct
5 intake temp 15 deg celsius
6 coolant temp was the same as above and its correct
7speed puls? checked out at 0 as it should
9 voltage 11.8
24 throttle switch should be off but my said on, is that because i disconected tors?
26 grip warmer 0
27 thumb warmer 0
29 shock rear on
30 coil 1 measured and correct
31 coil 2 the same
32 coil 3 the same
33 coil 4 the same
36 injector 1 sent for test and was tight and nice spray
37 injector 2 the same
38 injector 3 the same
39 injector 4 the same
50 fuel relay works
51 fan relay, works but i removed that cooler.
52light relay, works
58 dash meter, works
60 eeprom, works
61 engine code, none
62engine code repeat, none
70 meter of total engine run, works

i also messured the tps and got 0.72 closed and 4,08 open wich seems right as i found.

can you messure the fpr , at idle and without boost i got around 2.9bar, wheen full boost i see aroun 3.5-3.9bar

the sensor at the ecu must be the baro senor ? can you messure it
the other one that sat in the intake is assume go by intake pressure and both this ones give the same according to my reading of diagnostic.

Come on guys, this is eating me alive..whats the problem.

The ones i got left is, that it has missed and went a tooth over and now the camshaft are out of position, but as you see in the video the sled seem to run to god for that.

The other ones are that still the mcx box is the one causing this, Erik thinks i should send it up AGAIN.

the other are the launcontroll causing something electric? or a valve spring gone soft?

im so freakkin tired at this one but dont got the money to just throw it a shop now.
 
Have you checked your stock fuel injectors?
I've had #4 injector on mine plug the screen with junk and cause a miss and pop.
