I'm looking for new slides since mine are toasted. I'm on Port Yamaha's site and I see that they have regular slides, and wide slides. What is the difference? Obviously they are wider, but what does that do? I'd assume they are just wider so there is more point of contact for slower slide wear.
45 views and nobody knows the difference between wide and not?

Wide slides are 34 mm wide. So they are wider than standard slides. Wide slides are standard on the Phazers if I remember correctly. I have my original slides hidden somewhere outside.
