Yeah. I'm really looking for that Wolverine too...
I was thinking it might be great ATV to drive enduro routes that i use to drive with my enduro bike. Including wetlands in Lappland.

I have the old style Wolv, all hopped up... I just wish they would have jambed that motor into a Sport Quad style frame with 4 wheel drive.

I bought one a month ago. I don't have too many miles on it yet but I rode the 660 Grizzly, the 700 Grizzly and 07 Wolverine 450. When i got back the salesman said "are you ready for me to write you up a sales ticket for the 700 Grizzly". I said nope, I prefer the fun factor of the Wolverine. He was shocked, he said it was the first time he'd sold anything but a 700 grizzly after a demo ride.
I like the ease of steering on the Wolverine (even without power steering). I ran all of them (brand new) on a rail road bed and the wolverine went 51 mph, the 660 grizzly went 62 mph and the 700 grizzly went 102 KPh (I couldn't figure out how to change it back to MPH) but it's roughly 62 mph too. The Wolverine was an brand new 06 they were willing to let go for $4,900 out the door with no freight and setup so I bought it.

The Wolverine is a good quad. My wife was looking at one until she rode a friends. The tight suspension in nice but for day long rides she decided on a Kodiak with the independant rear suspension. Also when she was looking racks were not available.

I finally got my racks in and the front one lis sized perfectly and looks great. The rear one is the same size as the front and looks too small and is mounted too far back for my liking.
I finished the Fix clutch/carb kit and it really woke up the quad. I also added a fitch fuel catalyst, a K&N filter and a spark enhancer. I just won a GYTR pipe on E bay so it should be alot of fun.
The nice thing I notice about the Wolverine is how flat and fun it is cornering. Since it has a solid rear axle vs. independent shocks it really sticks the corners. I would think that would be good for just about anyone because with the suspension and the low profile tires the body roll you feel on a utility quad just isn't there.

Got to be careful though as the rack will tend to sag with age and overloading.MrSled said:and a good wife will always have a nice rack....LOL

Basically, the '06-'08 Wolverine 450s are older model SRA Kodiaks w/ sport plastic. No low range and a suspension tweaked a little for sportiness.
I have an '06 and it is a great, little, fun bike. I bought it used, 5 months old, and it already had the radiator guard, GYTP exhaust, GYTR hand guards. I added the GYTR cooler rack, nice product and sticks out NO further in the back than stock. I also added 2" spacers on each side in the rear. It definitely is more stable now and only about 46"??? wide. Put in a Yamaha power port w/ matching Yamaha male end for my GPS. The OEM Garmin plug would shake loose, but the Yamaha one clicks into place. O-rings for water resistance.
