Just my luck we finally get some snow and when I went to start my 08 Phazer rtx it doesn't want to start. I let the fuel pump cut out and it cranks over but won't catch and start. It says the rpms are at 210. (also no codes) I'm guessing the battery is low but what is worrying me after cranking it over a half a dozen time the oil light comes on. (also it doesn't seem that the battery is getting weaker after trying to start it a few times.) I had this running perfect before Christmas and there's no big oil leak to my knowledge.

Forgot to add I left it be for a half hour or so and tried starting it again a few times and the light didn't come on.

Bad gas.... I had the same kind of problem, had it running for like 20 minutes and turned it off 2 weeks later no start. Drained the tank and put in some new stuff, sputter, sputter, cough, cough...Vrooooommmm.

There was fresh gas put in it not that long ago a couple of weeks maybe. Didn't think gas would go bad that quick??

Update: I put the battery on charge and just went out to try again and it fired right up. Took it around the yard a little bit and all seems good.

How old is the battery?

I'm not sure how old the battery is but I believe I must have drained it a lot when testing and setting up the underglow I installed on top of not having it running long enough to charge the battery itself.

DaYammie if you need to replace it go with the Napa Glass Matt battery! Cranks noticeably better than stock battery, myself and about a dozen guys I know have been running them for years no issues and better starts.

That's what I'm running.
