I would sure appreciate if someone would post the procedure for disconnecting the TORS on the Apex. I have heard of several acting up.

The throttle position sensor is part of the TORS system on the apex. On carb sleds you just unhook the carb switch (black and black-yellow) and plug the ends together to complete the curcuit. This switch usually sticks or goes bad causing the TORS to activate when not needed. With the apex using the TPS as the carb switch, there is no way to unplug carb switch, so you would have to disable the throttle switch.
I would not change anything unless you have a problem. The TORS is a safety feature. Of all the sled i have seen with TORS problems, it is either a bad carb switch, throttle cable free play is set too tight or routted incorrect, or left hand throttle cable is to tight.

Follow the Wire from the Throttle down there is a white wire and a brown and yellow wire. Unplug them and plug them back into each other. Before you unhook these wire you should install a tether switch. That way you have a safety switch.
