Would you like to buy a Yamaha RSVector for $186.50?

Re: oil

I never said it was a vector or a rage :o| , prob. the same thing.. also when you live near nothing people tend to charge a little more, and it is not worth the drive to go to another place. And for the most part, the time i have off from work i do not want to spend time on changing the oil. Money is not the key factor for me, but i bet i am not the only person who takes their sled somewhere to have work done, Regardless if it is necessary or not it would have to be calculated in, also if you did it yourself you still need to add that cost in, that is what i am saying. Regardless of how much i am willing to pay to have some one else do the work.
[/quote]I can understand you paying for a oil change.Your time is worth more to you than that. But for most of us its quicker to do the oil change than it would be to load the sled to take to a dealer. I was just saying I would not pay to have it done, but I also do allot of things myself. I think you would only calculate the filter and oil in on the cost. witch should be added in.But the hole point of the artical is the buying price is not the only thing to concider when buying the new sled.

The topic is rather interesting to say the least and the marketing tactic impressive from both a statistician's perspective as well as a demographic standpoint. That being said, if you have to justify the expense you cannot afford to ride a sled, and secondly, DO IT BECAUSE IT THE BEST F*&^ING SPORT ON THE PLANET! :yam:

Perhaps, but for some people, the move from 2 stroke to 4 stroke is a giant step. I was one of those people a year ago. This is just another thing that the undecided should consider when thinking about it. Since I've had my Vector, it is fun calculating all of the dough I saved on gas after the weekend. That way, you can try telling your wife that the guy's weekend outing was really basically free this year! (hey, it's a theory) :D

Here's a version for those of us from Canuckistan!

The sleds cost more, the fuel costs more, I assumed that people in my area ride a bit less too... but the numbers are still impressive.
