11-13 here.Unless kid is on back and I just cruise then over 20mpg.When its pinned its a gas hog for the power coming out of it.Then again guys I ride with are needing gas before me most times.

that is so funny, all my riding buddies, all on 2strokes always have to get gas before me, i usually fill up anyway to be safe, but throwing in 2-3 gallons is better than 6-8.. but one thing that has me curious is i am running a pc3 and ignition module, i wonder if that helps my mpg when i am just at cruzing speed holding a constant rpm????... and dont get me wrong i have gotten 90miles to a tank of gas, 136 was just my best... yes im a big mpg dork...lol

Depends on how you ride. I can get good mileage when cruising. Under race conditions is where the MPG tank hmm wonder why....

I think if it had more power it would get better gas mileage since you wouldnt have to have it to the bars all the time to keep up.My SRX gets excellent MPG even on railroad grades and such where its over 80mph almost whole time. Also in deep snow.I am not kidding when I say that others on thier 600's and similar will use twice as much gas as the SRX under those conditions because they are pinned to keep up and SRX I am barely on the gas.Rigidone I have no doubt a properly tuned sled would get better mileage.PC3 is way to tune it for sure.

+1 on the SRX. My SRX was great on gas. It had a nice sized tank as well. My buddies were always filling before me!

The Phazer is very sensitive to riding style and snow conditions. 136 miles has got to be a record though. WOW!

Well after reading some of these mileage numbers I may not need any extra gas.. I dont ride to hard, but I am a fatty so that will help it go down a little.. I looked into that manual canister someone posted and I think that is the route Im gonna go, inexpensive and sure as hell beats walking out of the woods...

LOL !!! so one fatty to another have you rode the phazer yet, I havent, just hope it moves with my fat #*$&@.. LOL

Just bought it in September.
Some rips around the 3/4 acre yard - not even enough room to actually get any real speed & the farmers alfalfa fields across the road is my hunting spots/ private trail so I can't "bite the hand that feeds me" even though I REALLY wanted to...

I have a spare 07 fuel tank. It holds a slight bit more fuel becaues the tank is thiner then after the 07's. The tanks got thikier in 08 becaues of emmission (evapertion by tank wall). I dont know how much more fuel holds in the 07 tank. I dont need the tank.

Well thats something to think about, just have to figure out the difference the 07 holds and if it will bolt on. if it is significant then that might be the answer.....

The difference is 1.1 Gal. 07 Phazers 8.1 Gal and 08/above is 7.0 Gal. I think it should fit but I will have to see. I will look Monday when I get back home from drill and since it's to snow tomorrow I will defiantly be riding and test the captivity of the tank.
