I have a 2009 Nytro XTX. Currently my sled steers heavy and follows other tracks. I want something that will make it steer easier and not dart. I was going to get Pilot skis but I heard im better off getting Woodys dual runners.

What should I get?

I have simmons and love them, think pilots would also be great and maybe even less aggressive. I can turn twice as sharp as my buddys short track with stockers. I think shimming is a joke and duelies are cheap/quick fix for a womans sled

nice :o|

I put 6.9 pilots on my xtx with carbides and the extra runner on the side. It handles great now. Turns sharper. Doesn't follow other tracks. And floats a lot better in deep snow. Just my 2 cents. I hope this helps

Yamaha mountain skis with snow trackers...no darting.

shim the stock skis with 3/8" shims and bergstrom tripple point runners.

I run the slydog powerderhounds with 4" carbides, turns like a champ and much easier to steer than stock. The doo boys i run with have dualies on their stockers and i can still pull away from them in the twisties.
