Top Speed honors with the longest track went to the XTX at 98.48 Mph only second to the Z1 Turbo!!!! Note it also ran the 660 at 4 mph faster than the SE and only 2mph slower to 660 behind Z1 Turbo...
And dont say the XTX was fastest cause of traction, because the SE with its 121" track was faster in the 0-30mph, 0-60mph and the 30-50mph.....(but only by a few tenths

My wife's Nytro couldn't get by my 1200 for over 60 miles while running groomed trails up north. She was always right behind me about 12 ft off my rear bumper.

I wonder if the clutching differences played the big part in the different speeds between the XTX and RTX SE. Or, is it mainly the approach angle of the track? Just food for thought.

Strange, me and a friend on a XTX were testing just this this monday-in absolutely perfect conditions we where side by side for miles! Both stock gearing and stock tracks (1.25").
How is it possible that the XTX top speed is 5mph faster in the US??
...and for the record-our top speed in the morning was -belive it or not- close to 109mph! (or 174 km/h)
later in the afternoon it was back in normal 98-99mph...it was HARD trails on the lake in the morning!
I know the numbers are extreme, and I am pretty sure I wont see them again since I planne to put on a 1.75" track-but it whas fun while it last!

Moderators and fellow TYers, sorry for the bashing, but according to jds1000, there is nothing about the Nytro that is as good as his Doo and he points that out every chance he gets, on a Yamaha based Website, Imagine that.

You got to ride a DOO for over 60 miles non-stop!! WOW!!! thats unheard of, I will check the guiness book because I believe we may have a new record!! I'm assuming you have proof of this journey cause they will ask? Congratulations once again JDS!

Traction...looks like one of the sleds didn't have enough power to blow out the track. Just enough power not to spin!!
