YamaCat Z120

Hey guys,

My son out grew his kitty Cat and he wants a 120...his favourite colour is green so we need a Z120...but I wanna make sure it has the Yamaha motor and not the honda....

Does anyone know when cat started using Yamaha motors in the Z120?

IF I remember correctly it was 2009. Seems I read it in the info about the engine supply agreement.

That's interesting I was told they had yamaha motors all along.

How old is he.......I have my kid on a ski doo 380 fan and she is 8....I just turn the throttle cable adjusters down on the carbs so it only goes 30 mph max.....

But those 120's are nice ....my kids had one

I would say 2008 or 2009,i remember seeing one at a dealer and the salesman had told me it had a yammi engine,that's a while back,like 4 to 5 years ago

My neighbors kid races them. He bought a new one last year with a Suzuki in it and this year with the yamaha. He told me he got another new one just because of the motor. In hind sight he can get way more rpm and power from the old one.
