If you have a 2011 apex with a yamacharger watch your fuel quality!
The knock sensor is very very sensitive & will kiick the crap out of your mid & top end performance if you get mediocre fuel.
I noticed this on the weekend racing my buds after i bought fuel in the boonies.
The sled still pulls good rpm,s but the performance was way off.
Filling up with my known good fuel brought everything back.
It may slightly hurt the stock apex,s but it really does a number on the yamacharged ones.
The sled will run well & seem ok but top end charge is wayyy off.
This won,t apply to 2010 & older as they don,t run a knock sensor.

Haven't heard much from you lately Turk. How's that yamacharger working? Is it noticeable. Which clutch kit works best with that kit?

YES - you are right on with the fuel comment..When i aim "out" riding and aim not getting gas from reguler spot. I always add a little octane boost to (fix) that gas up..

Hey Turk, how lean are the new ones from the factory. Does it have a light like the 2002 srx did when deto was happening. Perhaps even with good fuel you are leaving some on the table, fuel controller????

Nope....no deto light. I just noticed when i bought fuel from 2 small town gas stations performance dropped way off & came back with fresh fuel from my usual station. Pretty obvious whats going on.

Does your winter blend consist of 10% ethanol like it does here at the states?

Hi Turk im new on this site. From what i see you are the man that knows how to clutch a sled. so i was wondering if you could give me some hints on how set up my 2 speeds from heel clicker. they told me to use the white spring but i read in one of your posts to use the black spring and just fill the shoulder. what is the edvantige in using the black spring? Thanks
