Hello, I’m new to the group. I recently changed my starter relay on my 2010 Vector. I got that issue fixed. But while I was working on that I noticed oil leaking from right side though skid plate. Anyone have this issue or know where it could be coming from?
Thanks.
Thanks.

It's likely coming from the airbox.
These 1050's are VERY sensitive to overfilling the oil, and will blow the excess into the airbox via the breather, and then it runs out the tube on the bottom if the airbox, and ultimately in the bellypan and on the ground.

Or possibly the oil tank is leaking??? Known for hairline cracks. See if foam under the tank is saturated with oil.

That was an 05-07 issue mostly with the old style tank.
But I guess anything is possible and worth a look.

Very true. ( had a few restless sleeps after finding a pool of oil on the floor) I found on my 10 Vector that I only fill to about 75% on the dipstick. As well do not screw the dipstick back into the oil tank when checking level, just touch it to the top and check without screwing back in.It's likely coming from the airbox.

Had the same oil issue on our Vector.. cleared up after we warmed it in the shop. I swear the air box got frost on that valve going to the tank ..but it could of been too much oil as well. But it always cleared up after the fact.. didn't happen much in the 10000 miles before we sold it.. and bought two more Vectors.. love them.

Hello thanks for the replies. I’ve checked all mentioned concerns but no luck. Oil is still dripping, must be a gasket leaking.
How does the original skid plate come off. Do you have to drill out the rivets??

Check the common places as well. Oil filter backed off, or double gaskets. Also check the oil tank drain to be sure it is tight. But the airbox is common and can be checked easily.
Good luck,
