We haven't tried this on sleds but we do a similar process quite often to 4 stroke outboards with high hours on them. Works quite well for removing carbon build up. Make that you change your oil after this process, it will be quite dark.

Now that you mention this on my last day of my Michigan trip the tank of fuel that had the Med RX in it was pretty much ran through. I had put another 150 miles on by the end of the day and we were in the process of loading up our machines to come home. Suddenly my oil light was coming on which I found strange. It never came on during my whole week of riding, only as I was loading machine up that last day. I have the machine stored at my buddies machine shed but I need to look at the oil level, how dirty it is..........but also I am curious about the oil filter I am using. I changed oil just before my trip with 5w-30 Mobil One synthetic and a Fram filter that fits an R1 bike. After watching this video I think I may only use the OEM filter. The relief valve has me most worried.

Fram filters suck, for my vehicles only a WIX is going on, on the sled its a K&N or OEM yami..

I know they are so readily available though. Wix are great, I believe they make the NAPA Gold model too.

I have used Fram's and Purolators in the Toyota truck I have for years being I buy my oil and filters at Mills Fleetfarm and do my own oil changes. Must be from my years of working at a filling station when I was in school. I can dump waste oil at work too. I do normally buy the top line Fram though (black Tough Guard one) , not the basic orange models. But I agree the Wix is better.
