Ouch. Probably will have to pull the plugs and crank it to blow out all the oil. Don't forget to refill with oil.
This begs the question... why was it on its side for 10 hours? (Just curious)

Had it parked outside at a cabin ,heavy rain and warm temp melted the snow on the left side and she tipped over never seen it till midday ,unreal .i think to remove plugs the seat and fuel tank have to be removed .

Yes, they have to come off but after you've done it once, it's easy.

Finally got the plugs out turned the engine over and sure enough the left plug cylinder spit out oil ,cranked it over got as much out as I can , now only a vapor spitting out . Not sure if I should leave it for a while to dry out more or put it back together and try it but just afraid it might foul the plugs . Any thoughts .

I'd start it and run and rev it a while to burn off the oil. Then I would change the plugs. I know they're not cheap but these engines can be sensitive to fouled plugs.

I think I put some old or dirty gas into my 07 VL today. It ran fine before hand then I put in just one gallon, rode around the garage a couple of times, seemed fine then went down a trail. Got nowhere and she died. Tried some gas line antifreeze then went bought fresh gas, topped up tank, thought for sure that would dilute bad stuff enough. No go. There she sits overnight. Wondering if maybe bad gas fouled my plugs? Any and all thoughts / ideas / observations welcome and appreciated. Cheers AllIs there an associated thread with step by step to remove the tank? Thanks much
