Yamaha Sled Talk - April 15, 2011

I'm not focused on cost of updating the my 2011 if they choose to charge us - what I am surprised about is that there is clearly a change for 2012 but no one knows anything about it. Not sure how they expect people to commit to purchasing a $15k machine when there were problems with the prior year model yet Yamaha can't explain or show what the difference is for 2012.

It seems that Yamaha, and others too, don't want to spill the beans on the future models cause they still have current year sleds to sell.
I guess we'll all have to wait until fall to find out just what will be.

X2 the local yamaha shop still has two sleds sitting on the floor.

I hope that there is something new for 2013 I held off buying a 2012 Vector LTX hoping that there would be a new model coming.

Now that we are getting closer to the deliver of 2012 product, has anyone seen or heard what the Apex XTX suspesion update is all about???

I sure hope its not less travel. I love the 14.5 rear travel! no more broken suspension parts. if they go to a mano style i think that would be going backwards. Off trail more travel helps a lot to. after all the xtx is a crossover sled right. ;):D
