As I've been at home recuperating from my recent surgery I've found myself spending waayy to much time surfing the web.

While poking around on the global Yamaha website I thought that it's pretty interesting to see what sled models they have available to their European customers.

If you want to waste some time take a look at the link: https://global.yamaha-motor.com/link/#link-europe
Just chose the country to look at and make sure that snowmobiles are listed as a product they sell.

It would be interesting to hear your comments, especially some of the Japanese models that we've said Sayonara to on this side of the pond.

HA! Bulgaria looks like the 2014 lineup. Even have a Nytro!

That Transporter really floats my boat.

I also wish, probably unlikely, that they would bring back some mid sized sleds bigger than the SnoScoot. Something like the classic Enticers or Bravos would be dandy.

Waiting to see what March 2019 reveals.

Holy Moly, check out those snowblowers offered in Finland!!

Reminds me of a joke that I heard in grade school:

Why did the snowman pull down his pants?

He heard the snowblower was in the neighborhood.

Yep, I remember them.

Pat’s Motorsports had a prototype at their dealership to test a few years ago. They said Yamaha was looking to get back into the market again. When I asked them a couple years later what became of them they said Yamaha was marketing some in other countries.

The ones shown on the Yamaha Finland page look rather beefy, that’s what got me. Must be for big snows!

What amazes me when you look at global sales of snowmobiles is the success Yamaha had a few years back in Russia - around 2012-2014 Yamaha was selling more units there than in the US/Canada/Europe combined and had roughly 40-50% market share there. In Russia reliable utility sleds are the most popular hence the reason Yamaha put effort into revamping the VK 540 which was the #1 selling unit over there - unfortunately for Yamaha the snowmobile market in general has fallen apart over there lately as back in 2013 there were 33,000 sleds sold in Russia by all manufactures and now it is down to roughly 5,000 year....

Yamaha Motors Europe has a video for a 2019 Viper BTX.
