So this year I decided to trade up from my Viper. I ended up finding a 2004 RX Warrior LE. Sadly we have yet to recieve any amount of snow so I can ride this beast!
So ive spent the free time trying to do some upgrades! So far I have added shock covers, skid plate, 5 inch riser w/cables, red Nytro hanguards, polished tunnel (not my best work), removed rear suspension and replaced almost all the bushings, renforced the w-arm, polished the rails, and fresh red paint. Heres a couple of before and afters. I plan to do a custom exhaust and seat mod this summer. Let me know what you think and if you have any other ideas for mods ![Yrules :yam: :yam:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/yrules.gif)

Got some time to check over the sled and do some mods, front end bushings we shot after 3100 miles, so those are getting replaced with oilites and im painting the hood vents red
not sure if i want to paint the windshield red or not?

Looks good Yamaha73.
I have the exact same floor jack and used it as you are, only I ended up putting a board across the belly pan and used some axle stands to stabilize it better as I was afraid the jack could fail or move and the whole weight of the sled would come down on my new A-arms

Sled looks great...love the LE colour scheme.
One suggestion I have is to remove the handlebar cover...give it a more streamlined look and show off the riser. Plus it'll help you see the gages better too.
Have you done the seat mod? It helps reduce knee pain, but at the expense of making the sled tippier.
Replacing the old tail flap with a new style one (red?) will look good too...no more sucking the flap in when reversing.
What about aftermarket skis?

Love the silver and red LE combination. It is one of my favorite Yamaha color schemes. You need to do the seat mod and add a Apex mountain seat. It is the best mod you can do to the RX/RS sleds and one of the easiest. The Apex mountain seat uses a firmer foam than the regular Apex. I put one on my Rage and just loved the way the sled rode. What seat mod on E-Bay, I am wanting to add another 1" or 2" to mine just like Yamaha did with their newer models?

Not sure what seat mod you are talking about. Any seat mods that I have seen look like an overstuffed sausage. It is my opinion that you should go with an Apex mountain seat. Not only is this seat firmer than a standard Apex seat, it is narrower at the top and a good 1 - 2" taller than a stock Apex.. The narrower seat makes it easier to hang off and transition from one side of the seat to the other. You should be able to find one for $120 or less. G.B.
