yammaha gear

I picked up some stuff early in the season off ebay, the sellers name is pswholesalers , he buys like 2 truck loads of stuff.
it was like 60% off retail.

also yamahasportsplaza has great prices and fast shipping.

IMHO, just buy the brand you like and match the color of your sled. The Yamaha stuff is not as good as Castle or Klim. FX or FXR or whatever they call it aren't even waterproof. I have 3 broken zippers in 2 seasons. They are going in storage for when a buddy rides with me who doesn't have his own gear. Or you can wait until fall and go to a show and get some great deals.

Indy, Yamaha doesn't use just one Manufacturer for their clothing. You may have bought some of their entry level stuff that is built to a price point. Look in any of their catalogs and you'll see for yourself how one page has a jacket for $159.00 and the next page has a jacket for $399.00. I have a couple, actually about 4. One is made by Reima and is definately one of the nicest jackets on the market (ebay purchase by the way, $399.00 list, $100 on ebay new!). The others are probably in the $150 retail variety. Definately not as nice but I wanted lighter jackets for non-riding applications.

well after switching brands 3 yrs in a row I decided to go with all black gear I have a Cold wave Jacket with zip out liner and castle x bibs they are both plenty warm and they go with any sled you might ride.

FXR is what I wore this year. Loved them. Also Castle X makes some real nice outerwear. It all depends what you are looking for.
Mighty is correct when he says Yamaha uses all different vendors for there close. It is all in how deep you want to dig in your pocket but I will say this- this is one area you get what you pay for.

i have bought all our families riding gear from port yamaha over the years, either at the novi show or from their website.... great prices, great service..
