it,s warm out, and lack of snow dust will have it running on the hot side.

My could run with out the hood on, that's what I have to do some times when we are out west in late april. I have add some vents to the side panel and rear cooler.

light
The answer is simple install a set of ice scratchers...I was out with my apex this week...the temp was 8*C ...We ran about 55KMS all different speeds slow and fast...Temp light never came on...Buy a set of $60.00 ice scratchers bolt them on and use them...They do work....My hyfax wear is nearly zero in 300kms and I am using a set of Kimpex hyfax...about as cheap as you can get.........

I run scratchers too. They work. I use the slide kicks cable style ones. I've run them since the sled had 300 some miles on it, when I bought it. I changed out my hyfax at 2200 miles and they had lots of meat left -- I had changed them out prematurely.

I'd say it's time to add fuel. Yellow light is low fuel. Red light is hot temps.

No, you'll will get a yellow warning for several different issues. You need to look at the icon thats showing along with the light. Low fuel will show a gas pump. Hot engine will show a thermometer.

The red light tells you that you have a critical issue and you need to shut off the engine. The yellow light tells you that you have an issue that needs attention, but you can still ride. Whenever either light comes on, you need to look at the icons to tell you what issue the sled is alerting you to.
You can get a red or yellow light for any of the icons.
