Yellowknife's 2006-2007 Season Odyssey on his Mountain Lite

I believe the leak is coming from where the circ heater was installed but that's not confirmed. I'll be letting the dealer warranty the leak soon. I am keeping an eye on the level. It is not coming from the overflow tube.

Ok just wanted to point out and oh ya nice sled :yam:

Yellowknife,

Fantastic write up. I have only managed to put 350 km on mine so far, but from my experience you are spot on in every way. I notice the bottoming of the suspension a bit more as I am 200 before gear but not bad at all. Look forward to any additional info you have. It was a very good read. I see you lost the little emblem as well.

Now THAT is a most excellent informative post. Many Thanks, Yellowknife! I knew you would come through. With your lengthy seat time over the years on the REV, this comparison is great.

Yamaha should just give you a new sled and let you pile on the miles and tell us as you go. There is no way they could ever get real-world testing like this in a short time to help potential buyers make the big decision.

I am considering a 4s for my next purchase, and this information really helps me in the decision process.

Thanks again and keep the info coming! Its all good.

yep that is what i like about all yamaha products that i have owned...25000mile intervals on engine stuff....my fzr600 was the same way....waverunners and my wave blaster have been incredibly reliable....just wish i could afford a mountain lite!!! great write up thx

I read your "GREAT" post over at the Doo site first.. Read every word.. WOW, can you type dude!!!!!! Thanks for the effort, glad you like your non-smoker. :jump: :4STroke: MM.

Why do we buy the magazines?? This report was one of the most informative, non-bias I have ever read. Heck the magazines should pay Yellow to be a free lance writer. Thanks for the great reading!

Own an SDI Gade and I am eyeing a PML.

YellowKnife,

Great and excellent report!

I know it's a lot of work tu put a report like that! Thanks a lot for taking the time to write it up and taking a lot of pictures!

The was an amazing review!

BTW, the reason your sled doesnt over heat is you have a fan. I need to get one too...

Hey Yellowknife, great review. Based on that, I may go ahead and purchase the GT this spring when it gets warmer.

We are still in deep cold, but the sun should be back in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the informative review.
