YRSS going on my apex

Someone on here referred me to partzilla for ordering OEM parts. I have been fascinated with the Yamaha reactive suspension system since it came out on the last year Apex.

I found the part number for the complete shock and reservoir assembly I ordered it completely expecting they would cancel the order and not fulfill it. But to my delight look what showed up at the door today!!

Now the question is how are people using/liking it and what settings do you like?

They appear to be very well-built and I’m pretty excited to try it out. Unfortunately that won’t be till next year but the whole assembly comes pre-connected I just need to lay it into my 06.

They appears to have rebound and compression adjustments as well as a bypass valve so they act like normal shocks. They came very well packaged and I’m excited to install them over the summer!!

mrsled has one on his 18 apex xtx as does agman. they might be able to help you. i did ride agman's sled when i helped break it in. it handled well but it still had the tuners on it when i drove it and i was paying more attention to the steering than the suspension at the time.
