Shouldn't be this hard...

Yeah I have the ones from kimpex and there rounded. # 04-218-23. I finally got ahold of denni from adboivin. He confirmed they use profile 8 slides and they use garland. So I think iam going to order new slides from dennis kirk since they have garland slides.
As for buying slides from adboivin they cost $78 plus customs and shipping. Not worth it in my opinion. Garland slides are like around $15 so I could basicly afford two pairs for less than from ad. The slides went faster then stock. Or looks that way. I also think I ran the track too tight in fear of it ratcheting with the 144". The shitty snow conditions didnt help either..

Cool, I was hoping to get it at dennis kirk, i will search for some and post a link.
While were at it what kind of wheels can we buy to replace some of the idlers? I see where my studs are in the middle its chewing up the middle idler wheels. I got into some NASTY stuff (rocks and mud) on the last ride of the year last and I think that took them out vs the studs, I had inspected them before the ride and they were fine.
They just a standard doo wheel as well?

good luck at finding them. i talked with dennis kirk. they sell profile 8 in there style, which is for arctic cat and different then ski doo profile 8. also he said the ski doo profile 8 only comes to 51". so if you have the 144" zx2 you need atleast 56" slides i believe. if you find out anything post it up...
ill keep you informed.

The original post where i included the royal distrubuting catelog shows models with profile 8 ski doo and the model AND the length, then go on dennis kirk I beilve a 94-95 ski doo summit will have long enough ones for you and it shows the profile which is exactly what we need.
Good luck

ok thanks looking at that now. just concerned with the length. is 55.38" long enough for the 144" zx2? when i measured mine i got around 56" but i also measured it still installed and it might be off alittle.
also i spoke with someone and they said garland slides only go to 55.38 anything long are sno stuff.
hope this helps.

I have used the Ski-Doo Summit hyfax. Have bought from the local doo dealer and are easy to get. However, they are EXPENSIVE! I am not sure of the actual price but it is what it is.

what length do you have. I have the 144" skid. If its the same length do you remember a part number or year make and model ski doo slides to buy.
Thanks

These are the ones I bought. They do have a small slot in the back section, but it does not affect the slide.

I also have this Doo number, check with a Doo dealer.

That part number is $14 on jaycox powersports web site which from my doo buds is the cheapest place anywhere for Doo OEM parts.

Ill have to check the length i buy. Mine are longer then a 144" but not much. I had to trim a few inchs off to make them fit correctly. I want to say they come in 64"
What size skid do you have now? 151?
