Seems pretty normal in you picture, have you made any adjustments to make it sit more flat to the ground?

It is all good. All you need is someone to sit on the seat and down it goes. I love this skid, and gooooooooooooood price.

I just installe one in my SRX. The back end sits up much heigher than yours. maybe 2"-3". Looks like a rocking horse. I'm hoping most of it is due such a low front end on the SRX. I'll be long traveling with Viper shocks this week. Hope it helps. Any other thoughts.

Like i told Zach on another post, The back end should be around 1 inch from the ground if you lift the rear of the sled and let it back down slowly. (End of the track lug)
If it is more, we have to check the front end and see if you have some sag in the front suspension.
If so, wind the front spring to raise the front end a little bit. (Don't go to much)
Some guys may have lower there front end to get better cornering because the front end is heavier on the 4 stroke.
If you have a SRX, you will have around 2 to 3 inch at the back of the track. that chassis is the holder style. you just have to uncouple the revolver system to hole number 5 in your manual. this is the bottom hole on the 3 hole side.
With the pin in position number 5 from the manual, you should have around 1 inch like the other models.
But be ready to rock the house because with the SRX, you are coming a long way!
I other thing i need to specified is the strap lenght
On the Expert X or the ZX-2, you can't short the limiter strap. this is in the design of the suspension. when you go 151 or 162 inch, they tell you where to position the limiter strap for those lenght of suspension and you still can't short them up.
The second thing i want to go true is:
Don't try to have your sled level, the front of the track need to touch the ground first all the time when you drop the back slowly on the ground.
this is the engagement of the revolver system. How much it touch the ground first is what we control.
if the Front of the track touch the ground way before the rear, you are having a lot of coupling. This mean the suspension will react to anything in the trail, really ruff trail. but the sled will feel short, the back can dance a bit.
if it touch the ground just before the rear touch you have less coupling and you will send a smaller signal to the revolver system. this will give you more front bit and the suspension will react less to the small bump in the trail. You will be on rail, more stable but the suspension will work less because of the smaller signal.
let me know if i was clear enought.
later, Jeff
