I put the new "updated" springs in this summer from Boivin with the nylon collars. Preload set at 1 and revolver pins at 2 and 4. Front shocks are Ohlins clicker with preload set so collars just touch spring when suspended and clickers set in middle.
The sled will not turn without lifting the inside ski to the MOON! It is unridable! Can anyone offer me some suggestions as to pre-load and revolver pins settings? I trail ride aggressively sometimes and sometimes I putt putt with my soon to be 3 year old. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am thinking about putting the pre-load back to 4 or 5 as something jogs my memory from last year that you actually have to add pre-load more than you would think based on conventional suspension set ups which I completely forgot about. I would like to have the sled rail the corners and provide minimum to modest ski lift when going over hills or when it is needed to carry the skis over a washout etc.
Thanks,
Shane
