On my 2024 Viper I slid the CDI back and just used the back two mounting studs . Bent a bracket and mounted the voltage regulator to the power steering bracket .For anyone who has done this on a Viper/7000, can you provide some details on where you relocated the Voltage Regulator to? Also, did you have to move the CDI on the left side at all for clearance?
I love how great this rides . Way nicer than my 2012 Vector LTX .

The airbox does require minor modifications in two areas: a flat on one corner (screw clearance), and a "D" shaped hole just above the flat (for eps motor power plug clearance).View attachment 176672

I mounted my regulator on top of the drive belt shield. The EPS works great! My wife says it just as easy as her 2012 vector with power steering!

So on the topic of wiring for the Viper/7000, obviously the wires needed at the two connectors on the EPS unit are the same. The difference is the viper/7000 do not have both a 4 pin connector and a separate 10 pin connector for their diagnostic connectors. Instead, they use only the 10 pin connector as shown in the diagram below. (Note that some later models of Viper/7000 may also have the 4 pin as a suspension connector. Later model SW/9000 will actually have the 10 pin and two 4 pins with one being for suspension and the other for diagnostic).
Further, the power wire in this connector for Viper/7000 (pin K) is a switched power and is actually on the same circuit as the 2 pin accessory connector. This means the wiring harness could be simplified for the Viper/7000 by using pins K, F, and E from the 10 pin diag port. In addition to those, obviously you'll still need the heavier gauge wire run to the battery for unswitched power and ground. Unfortunately, I don't have the details in terms of part numbers for back shells, pins, etc for the 10 pin diag connector.
Hopefully this info will help some others. I'm comtemplating doing it on my '15 Viper, but keep debating if it's worth the trouble on such an old machine.

I'm willing to reach out to the EPS MFG, but I already know the answer if all I can give them is the Cat or Yam P/N's and the application.Anyone have some time you can contact them direct:

Does anyone have one of these in hand that you'd be willing to peel the Cat sticker off so I can get the Allied Motion part number and try that route?
Here's a pic that I pulled off the video @MrSled created to see what sticker I'm looking for.

I have initiated contact with Allied Motion via a call and they've transferred me to sales via e-mail so we will see how that goes.
In the mean time, here is a full spec sheet for the Gen 7 Power-R Steer that you can all chew on. It has some interesting details, but nothing too actionable yet.

It's too large to directly upload so I've hosted it on Onedrive and attached a link.
